To date, Skyworks has produced over 100 factual documentaries for broadcasters such as the BBC, ITV, Discovery and Smithsonian Channel.
Skyworks has had great success recently with its series Wainwright Walks for the BBC. This became the most watched factual series ever on BBC4, until our latest series, Railway Walks, beat it in late 2008.
Internationally Skyworks has just been commissioned by Smithsonian Channel to produce a series on 50 one hour shows covering the whole of the United States. This will be the most expansive HD aerial series ever and is scheduled for transmission in mid 2009.
Skyworks is constantly developing new concepts and projects for broadcast, both in the UK and abroad. A ninety minute special, Cloudspotting is in production for the BBC, as well as further walks programmes. Projects are also being developed with Chinese Television amongst others.
